Description: Our bridal hair course is open to complete beginners, teaches professional techniques for bridal hair styles.
Our bridal hair course is open to complete beginners, it will cover professional techniques for bridal hair styles. You are taught how to style bridal hair to last and create the perfect bridal up-do - including how to use pins and hair spray, create plaits, buns and pleats.
Once you book your place you will receive a booking confirmation containing your online account details so you can start the course straight away. This will enable you to start learning the theory at your own pace, and prepare you for the practical day at the School. We have a high success rate for students, so rest assured that we will provide you with all the support you need to pass your diploma/VRQ.
Our course is accredited by the beauty guild making it an insurable certificate which allows you to use this treatment on the general public and charge for this therapy. You will be required to bring a model, see below for details.
YOU WILL NEED A MODEL FOR THIS COURSE
On the day of the course:
We start with introductions and house keeping . Key points of the theory, completed online are recapped and related to the service. All products, tools and equipment are discussed including storage and H&S precautions.
The tutor will demonstrate a client consultation and perform a detailed demonstration of the service whilst answering any questions you may have.
After the demo, each student will complete the full service under the supervision of the tutor.
At then end there is another opportunity to ask questions and discuss what has been covered during the day. However, don't worry should you think of something later you can call or email for support.
After the Training
It is important that after training you practise your new skills on friends and family - carry out 5-10 practise sessions in order to make sure you have fully understood everything covered in training and improve your delivery time. If you find you are having any issues, that will give us an opportunity to address any problems before you start offering this service to clients. We are available for support by phone, email or Skype.
Training for all courses takes place at our Beauty Schools based in either:
We provide students with access to our online training area before they attend the school. We find by doing this they are able to complete the theory in their own time and are able to absorb more information. This also means we have more time for practical, which then allows the tutor to demonstrate best practices as well as answer any Q & A’s.
The really depends on what your looking to do, if your looking to treat friends, go mobile or run your business from home then we’d recommend a diploma by the Beauty Guild. However, if you were looking to work in a Salon or Spa most would require you to have an NVQ/VRQ qualification.
If you decide on the NVQ/VRQ qualification you'll also be required to attend an additional day for assessment, further to this you'll automatically receive a diploma qualification. More information will be given to you during your practical day at the School.
Yes, you’ll have the option to do this.
It will depend on the circumstances surrounding the cancellation and the notice given(see T&C for more details). In the instance that a refund is requested due to illness, medical notification will be required. Unfortunately we are unable to give a refund if the online theory has been accessed/completed.
Yes. As well as doing the online theory at your own pace, students will find that by practising at home AFTER you have taken the course, performing approximately 6 -8 treatments, they will achieve more confidence in doing treatments.
We believe in keeping the class sizes small, so students have more one 2 one time with our tutors. Our normal class size is 4 to 8.
YES a model is required.
No, everything will be provided for you on the course. However some students find it beneficial to bring a pen and paper to make notes.
Our courses are approved and accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists (Diploma) and VTCT (VRQ). This does not apply to Workshops.
